A platform for private EV charging.
VoltExchange is our own product: a community platform where EV drivers share private home chargers. The idea is to share power instead of hunting for charging stations, and charging is paid for with kWh credit, not money. We built the brand, the website and the application as one piece, in German and English.
01 · The structure
Map, account, credit.
The platform has three parts: the map with the charging points, the member account with credit and reviews, and the website that explains the model. Newcomers understand in three steps how sharing, credit and charging fit together, and start with 20 kWh of welcome credit.
How it is built.
Share your charger, earn kWh credit and use it to charge at other members. No money changes hands, no haggling over prices; one account keeps the balance.
Charging points nearby sit on a map with filters for power and connector type. Anyone searching sees at once what is within reach.
Verified members and mutual reviews: if you let strangers use your own charger, you want to know who you are dealing with.
German and English in one consistent build, with a switch at the top of the page. The model works across borders.
02 · Today
Up and running.
The platform runs at voltexchange.app, in German and English, with a map, accounts and reviews. It shows what we build when we have a free hand: the same way of working we use to build and run our clients' websites.
