An app for trading cards in person.

CardGo shows trading card fans who nearby wants to trade: switch to ACTIVE, appear on the radar map, meet up in person. The idea is to go outside and trade for real. It is our own product, from the brand and the website to the web app.

01 · The structure

Web app plus one-pager.

CardGo consists of the web app with the radar map, the ACTIVE switch and the nearby chat, and a website that explains everything: how it works, the philosophy, the team and a dedicated section for parents. Sign-in works with a magic link; there is no password.

How it is built.

01 Radar, not an address book

Switch to ACTIVE and you appear on the map and see other collectors nearby. Leave the switch off and you stay invisible.

02 Chat with an expiry date

Messages in the nearby chat disappear after four hours. What gets arranged is the next trade, not an archive for the internet.

03 Designed for kids

Ages 10 and up, no real names, no ads, and a dedicated parents section on the website. The rules are set before the first trade.

04 One page explains everything

The website is a one-pager: how it works, the philosophy, the team and information for parents on a single page, with the app one click away.

02 · Today

Up and running.

The app and the website run at cardgo.app, launched with Pokémon cards. Here too: the same way of working we use to build and run our clients' websites.
